Nagisa Misumi and Honoka Yukishiro are two students who share the same school but lead entirely separate lives. Nagisa thrives on athletic pursuits, while Honoka dedicates herself to her studies. Despite their contrasting personalities and lack of common ground, their ordinary routines are forever altered when a sudden shower of shooting stars descends upon them. Hidden within this celestial event are Mippuru and Meppuru, two desperate refugees fleeing from the Garden of Light, a once-peaceful realm that has fallen under the oppressive control of an overwhelming Darkness. These unexpected visitors entrust the two girls with extraordinary abilities, transforming them into magical warriors tasked with protecting the light. Nagisa becomes Cure Black, and Honoka becomes Cure White, each wielding startling new powers they never imagined possessing. Though they were once strangers in spirit, the looming threat forces them to bridge their differences and fight side by side. United as Pretty Cure, these unlikely partners must combine their strengths to defend their world and stand against the encroaching shadows threatening to consume everything they hold dear.
