Sixteen-year-old Niina Hanabusa appears to have it all. Among her circle of friends, she is widely admired and often described as someone who has effortlessly won at life purely because of her striking appearance. Yet, beneath this enviable exterior, Niina quietly struggles with a deep-seated insecurity. She is plagued by chronic indecisiveness, finding herself fundamentally incapable of making choices or forging a path for herself without relying on others. Her perspective begins to shift the day a DSLR camera unexpectedly finds its way into her hands. This chance encounter introduces her to Mimiri, a former idol and an alumna of Niina’s school, who steps in to offer guidance. Under Mimiri's mentorship, Niina starts to explore the world of photography, discovering that looking through a viewfinder offers something she has always lacked: clarity. As she learns to frame the world around her, she slowly awakens to the quiet, profound joy of pressing the shutter, taking her first tentative steps toward finding her own voice and direction in life.
