In a quiet, rural village, two boys named Yoshiki and Hikaru share an inseparable bond. They spend their days doing absolutely everything together, bound by a deep friendship that defines their everyday lives. However, their peaceful routine is shattered on the day Hikaru is suddenly engulfed by a strange, mysterious light. From that moment onward, nothing remains the same, and Hikaru himself undergoes the most unsettling transformation of all. Despite the eerie changes taking hold of his closest companion, Yoshiki clings desperately to their connection. He harbors a profound, heartfelt wish to remain by Hikaru’s side forever, just as they always have. Yet, as the boy he once knew continues to shift into something unfamiliar, a haunting question begins to take root in Yoshiki’s mind.
