The Titans' elite Special Forces unit, designated as Team Hecate, is tasked with a highly classified mission deep within the remote and restricted area known as the Zebra Zone. Operating under strict secrecy, the team is conducting critical tests when their operation is suddenly compromised. Without warning, they find themselves ambushed by forces of the AEUG, thrusting them into a desperate battle for survival against an enemy that has somehow uncovered their hidden agenda. Battered but unbroken, Team Hecate manages to disengage from the initial assault, limping away from the battlefield in heavily damaged units. However, their brief respite proves to be nothing more than a fleeting illusion of safety. Just as the exhausted pilots begin to regroup and assess their losses, a new and far more dangerous threat emerges from the shadows. Neo Zeon forces bare their fangs, launching a sudden offensive against the already crippled squad.
