Sekiguchi is an ordinary life insurance salesman who makes the impulsive decision to abandon his corporate career and step into the neon-lit world of nightlife as a host. Trading policy briefs for cocktail glasses, he joins Club One, expecting a fresh start but quickly realizing he has entered an entirely different reality. The establishment is populated by a cast of eccentric colleagues who defy all conventional logic, including a host with a youthful "little brother" persona despite twenty years in the industry, a former idol who leverages romantic charm to drive sales, and a tough-talking regular whose true obsession is mobile gaming. Surveying this chaotic environment, Sekiguchi concludes that no rational person would willingly choose such a profession. Yet, rather than retreating, he discovers an unexpected advantage: the persuasive techniques and client management skills he honed in the insurance sector translate surprisingly well to the host club floor.
