Yumemiru Danshi wa Genjitsushugisha

Wataru Sajou has long harbored a deep affection for his beautiful classmate, Aika Natsukawa. Driven by the dream of mutual love, he continuously pursues her without ever letting rejection discourage him. However, everything changes one morning when he suddenly wakes up with a sobering realization: he is simply not good enough to stand beside someone as wonderful as she is. Embracing this newfound realism, Wataru begins to maintain an appropriate distance from Aika, abruptly halting his persistent advances. This sudden shift in behavior catches Aika completely off guard. Rather than feeling relieved, she grows anxious and jumps to the wrong conclusion, quietly wondering if Wataru has come to despise her. Her impatience and misunderstanding cause her to entirely miss his true intentions, leaving her distressed by the growing space between them. What follows is a charming romantic comedy centered on two people who are utterly incapable of conveying their genuine emotions.
