Amadare no Koro

Suguru and Yoshiichi grew up as next-door neighbors, sharing an inseparable bond until the day Suguru’s family moved away. True to a childhood promise, Suguru returned just as they entered junior high school, rekindling their close relationship. However, their time together faces a new hurdle when Suguru fails to transition into the same high school as Yoshiichi and begins preparing for entrance exams at other institutions. For Yoshiichi, the comforting illusion of having Suguru perpetually by his side begins to fracture. As the reality of another separation sets in, he is overwhelmed by a turbulent mix of loneliness, jealousy, and quiet heartache. His emotions swell uncontrollably, leaving him consumed by thoughts of the one person he cannot bear to lose, forcing him to confront feelings that run far deeper than simple friendship. This volume presents the complete story of Amadare no Koro alongside two additional works. It features an epilogue titled “Engage Key Holder,” which continues Yoshiichi and Suguru’s journey, as well as a bonus side story called “Haru no Iki,” exploring the romantic experiences of one of Suguru’s friends.
