Reborn as a Polar Bear: The Legend of How I Became a Forest Guardian

Kumakichi Kumada, a passionate and dedicated mountain climber, meets an untimely end after plummeting into a deep ravine. However, his story does not conclude there. He awakens in the heart of a dense forest within an entirely unfamiliar world, only to discover that he has been reincarnated as a polar bear. Despite the absurdity of his new form, this resilient Ursus maritimus retains all the memories, intellect, and practical knowledge from his previous human life. His unexpected second chance quickly takes on a profound purpose when he encounters six werewolf sisters who are desperately fleeing for their lives. Their clan is being ruthlessly oppressed by tyrannical humans, leaving the young women with nowhere left to turn. Stepping into the role of their protector, Kumakichi uses his sharp wits and past experiences to guide them through the dangers of this strange realm. For a man who once lived to conquer towering peaks, protecting these vulnerable sisters presents an entirely different kind of challenge. Drawing upon the same determination that drove him up the world's highest mountains, he sets his sights on a new summit: forging a safe, comfortable, and lasting home in the forest for everyone under his care.
