Amusement parks are typically envisioned as magical destinations filled with joy and excitement for visitors of all ages. However, Amagi Brilliant Park stands in stark contrast to that idyllic image. Located on the outskirts of Tokyo, this struggling theme park has fallen into a state of severe disrepair. The food stalls serve entirely unappetizing snacks, the rides are practically crumbling, and the costumed mascots routinely engage in physical altercations with the guests. It is widely regarded as a dismal attraction that no self-respecting person would ever willingly visit. For Kanie Seiya—a remarkably intelligent, handsome, and aloof young man—setting foot in such a failing establishment seems completely out of the question. Yet his carefully maintained detachment is abruptly shattered when a mysterious girl forces him to accompany her to the park at literal gunpoint. Rather than simply threatening him, she issues an impossible ultimatum: he must use his talents to rescue Amagi Brilliant Park from total ruin. Thrust into a chaotic world of broken attractions and brawling mascots, Seiya finds himself facing an extraordinary dilemma, compelled against his will to save a place he never wanted to be part of.
