Watashi no Kawaii, Kawaisou na Otto

Chocolarte Benoit, the daughter of a count, is widely regarded by high society as a scandalous and immoral villainess shrouded in a bewitching aura. Despite her notorious reputation, she is deeply cherished by her own family. When she falls in love at first sight with Alain Suzette, a young man from a prestigious household, during a grand ball, her supportive relatives help arrange their marriage. However, upon entering the Suzette estate, Chocolarte is met with coldness and insincerity from her new in-laws. The true blow comes on their wedding night when Alain approaches her to declare that his heart already belongs to another woman, promising he will never love her. Rather than being devastated, Chocolarte finds her husband’s tragic devotion utterly endearing. She sees Alain for what he truly is: a pitiful yet adorable man who remains oblivious to his own charm, faces constant setbacks in his career, and is prepared to sacrifice everything for an unrequited love. Deciding that such an unfortunate man deserves nothing less than absolute adoration, she resolves to drown him in overwhelming affection. What follows is a carefully orchestrated romance, as the devoted count’s daughter executes a strategic campaign to win over her tragically lovable husband.
