Chronicle of the Searing Winds of Tianzhu

Chronicle of the Searing Winds of Tianzhu presents a fictionalized retelling inspired by the historical exploits of Wang Xuance, a diplomat serving Tang Dynasty China. Set against the vast geopolitical landscape of the seventh century CE, the narrative follows his ambitious diplomatic expedition from the Chinese empire to the distant realm of Harsha in India. What begins as a mission of statecraft quickly transforms into a desperate struggle for survival when Wang Xuance arrives to find the once-stable empire in ruins and its new rulers openly hostile to his presence. Faced with imminent peril in a fractured foreign land, the diplomat is forced to flee northward, seeking refuge in the rugged highlands of Tibet. Rather than accepting defeat, he leverages his strategic acumen and diplomatic skill to forge an unprecedented military alliance. By uniting soldiers from Tang China, Nepal, and Tibet into a formidable confederation, Wang Xuance mounts a daring retaliatory raid against the Empire of Harsha, turning a failed diplomatic envoy into a legendary campaign across ancient Asia.
