In Deep Blue

Captain Roan has been entrusted with a highly classified directive from his commanding officers, tasking him with locating an elusive individual known only as X. As he meticulously combs through his extensive intelligence network for any viable leads, Roan stumbles upon an unexpected connection: the mercenary Max possesses a direct link to his target. With few alternatives available and the mission’s success hanging in the balance, Roan is compelled to reach out to Max directly, hoping to secure the critical information he needs to proceed. Max agrees to cooperate but sets a demanding condition, offering assistance only in exchange for a commensurate reward and insisting that Roan must “open yourself up until I’m satisfied.” Faced with no other viable options and bound by duty, Roan reluctantly accepts these terms, fully aware of the personal cost this arrangement may entail. What begins as a straightforward intelligence exchange quickly evolves into a complex negotiation where professional boundaries blur, leaving Roan to navigate both the perilous pursuit of X and the unsettling intimacy of Max’s demands. The mission now hinges not just on tactical skill, but on how much of himself Roan is willing to expose.
