JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Over Heaven

Presented as the long-lost transcript of the enigmatic diary belonging to Dio, a pivotal artifact originally featured in Stone Ocean, this light novel offers an unprecedented glimpse into the mind of one of fiction’s most compelling antagonists. Through his own words, Dio meticulously chronicles his relentless conflicts and encounters throughout the original series, reflecting on the battles that shaped his immortal existence and the adversaries who dared to stand against him. Beyond mere recollections of violence and conquest, the diary serves as a philosophical manifesto detailing Dio’s ultimate ambition: the realization of a grand design he refers to as "obtaining heaven." Within these pages, he articulates his deeply held ideals and outlines the intricate plans required to transcend mortal limitations and achieve absolute dominion over fate itself. Intertwined with his megalomaniacal aspirations are surprisingly introspective meditations on the fundamental nature of death, revealing how the concept haunts and drives his eternal pursuit of power. Amidst these dark reflections, Dio also turns his thoughts inward to address his unfortunate mother, adding a rare layer of personal history and vulnerability to the otherwise ruthless persona of a being who sought to reshape the very heavens.
