Shinjuku Lucky Hole

When Kumi’s heavily indebted father dies suddenly, his ordinary life as a high school student is abruptly shattered. To settle the outstanding debts, the yakuza forces him into the adult entertainment industry, placing him under the supervision of Sakuma, a seasoned trainer for adult video performers. As Sakuma instructs him in the mechanics of his new profession, Kumi struggles with a deeply personal conflict: he cannot untangle genuine romantic affection from physical intimacy. Years later, the two men have built a complex and inseparable existence together. They cohabit, collaborate professionally, and even share a bed platonically, having successfully established their own adult video production company named Lucky Hole. Despite this profound closeness, Kumi remains tormented by uncertainty regarding Sakuma’s true feelings. Both men engage in outside sexual relationships yet never cross that boundary with one another, leaving Kumi to question the exact nature of their bond. Spanning more than a decade, Shinjuku Lucky Hole chronicles the intricate evolution of their lives. It is a mature narrative exploring a series of adult romances defined by enduring drama, heartbreak, and unspoken yearning as two people navigate an intensely intertwined yet emotionally unresolved relationship.
