Muramata's Secret

"Muramata's Secret" is a manga anthology featuring a collection of short stories originally serialized in Comic Hotmilk between 2014 and 2019. The titular story follows the daily life of an office worker whose senior colleague, Muramata, is known throughout the workplace for her fun and cheerful personality. However, beneath her bright and approachable demeanor lies a significant secret that sets the stage for an unexpected dynamic between her and the protagonist. The volume also compiles several other distinct tales from the author's publication run. These include "The Soba Restaurant's Haru-san," centered around a character working at a local soba shop, as well as "Momose Knows," which explores another unique interpersonal narrative. Rounding out the collection are earlier works such as "Backstage," "Candy and Whip, Bow and String," and "Marching!", each offering varied romantic and dramatic scenarios characteristic of the magazine's serialization style. Together, these stories provide a comprehensive look at the author's short-form storytelling during this period.
