This encounter proves to be a devastating turning point in Tanba's life. He suffers a crushing defeat at Kajiwara's hands, enduring profound humiliation as he is forced to confront the harsh reality that his strength is far from absolute. Shattered by this revelation, Tanba vanishes entirely, disappearing from the fighting world for three long years.
