Make Me Bark

Sung-Joon has finally achieved a fragile sense of stability despite his difficult circumstances, earning just enough at a convenience store to rent his own apartment. Though the space is cramped, malodorous, and absurdly inexpensive, he cherishes it as a symbol of independence. This hard-won security shatters when he returns home to discover his residence engulfed in flames, leaving him suddenly homeless and isolated in a city where he lacks any meaningful support network. With nowhere to turn, Sung-Joon recalls Lee Hyo-In, a wealthy university acquaintance who happens to be seeking a live-in companion. However, this arrangement offers far less dignity than a standard roommate situation, as Hyo-In is not looking for an equal partner but rather someone to fill a subservient role. Desperation forces Sung-Joon to accept an unconventional living arrangement where he must trade his autonomy for shelter, effectively becoming a pet to his affluent peer in order to survive his sudden misfortune.
