Yuki no Joou

Based on the children's story by Hans Christian Andersen, "Yuki no Joou" follows the poignant tale of Gerda and Kai, two childhood friends who have been inseparable since they were young. When a shard from the Snow Queen's broken mirror pierces Kai's eye, he is consumed by an icy heart, turning him away from those he loves. Believing him to have drowned in a frozen lake, his village mourns his loss, but Gerda remains convinced that he is still alive. Inspired by a vivid dream and corroborated by a chance encounter with a drunken witness, she sets out on a perilous journey to the Snow Queen's icy castle, driven by her unwavering determination to rescue Kai and restore him to his home and their friendship.
