As nations rely heavily on shipping and navigation, the emergence of ocean pirates necessitates the employment of escort cruisers to safeguard their investments. Against this backdrop, Hyousuke Nagimiya, a skilled system engineer, is commissioned to upgrade the Pascal Magi, a high-tech vessel commanded by the fearless Captain Misaki Nanaha and crewed entirely by women. As they strive to prove their worth and defy the skepticism of their detractors, who label them as mere 'Alice Brand' – a term synonymous with mediocrity – the crew of the Pascal Magi becomes entangled in a larger global conspiracy that seeks to exploit the new world order.
