Narikiri Lovers

Yoshio works alongside his crush, Aiko, at a local karaoke bar, but winning her affection seems like an impossible task. Aiko has a very specific image of her ideal man: he must be undeniably handsome, wear designer clothing, and sport shoulder-length hair. Yoshio, however, falls far short of this fantasy. Instead of sleek locks, he has a natural afro that Aiko frequently teases him about, and his clumsy mistakes on the job constantly earn him her sharp scolding. Despite the daily reprimands, Yoshio cannot shake his feelings for her. One evening after their shift ends, he finds himself lingering outside a boutique that carries the exact designer brand Aiko envisions for her perfect prince. Drawn inside, he strikes up a conversation with one of the store clerks. Recognizing his quiet desperation, she makes him an unexpected proposition, offering to completely change his life. This single encounter sets Yoshio on an unforeseen path, presenting him with the chance to finally bridge the gap between who he is and the man Aiko desires.
