Chikyuu no Houkago

Humanity has been pushed to the brink of extinction by enigmatic, shadowy creatures known only as Phantoms. Amidst the ruins of civilization, four survivors—possibly the last humans alive—have managed to find one another and forge a tranquil existence. The group consists of Masashi, a compassionate and reliable teenage boy; Sanae and Yaeko, two teenage girls with contrasting temperaments, one reserved and the other fiercely bold; and Anna, a young child. Together, they navigate their desolate world in a state of quiet routine, feeling as though they are trapped in an endless "after school" waiting period, hoping that the rest of humanity will eventually return home. However, their fragile peace begins to fracture as unsettling anomalies emerge during their daily lives. It soon becomes apparent that the Phantoms have not abandoned the Earth, and the remnants of the catastrophe still linger in the shadows. As the group confronts these eerie disturbances, they are forced to face the terrifying reality of their situation. To survive, these unlikely companions must unravel the dark mystery behind the monsters' invasion and uncover what truly became of their shattered planet.
