Following the decisive defeat of Zanaffar, Lina and Gourry press forward on their ongoing quest alongside Zelgadis, Amelia, and Pocota, the crown prince of Taforasia. Their shared objective is to locate the legendary urn of Rezo, though each member of the group is driven by deeply personal stakes. Prince Pocota seeks the artifact in a desperate bid to awaken his people from a slumber spell originally cast by Rezo with benevolent intentions. Meanwhile, Zelgadis hopes that uncovering the urn’s secrets will finally provide the key to restoring his original human body. Despite their united front, the search for Rezo’s urn proves far more perilous than anticipated.
