Azuma Shuri is a young man driven by a single, unwavering ambition: to become a master chef. However, his culinary aspirations take an unexpected turn when he suddenly finds himself transported to another world. In this unfamiliar realm, he is taken in by Gungrave, the formidable leader of a mercenary group known as Akari. Starting from the bottom as a general laborer handling odd jobs, Shuri soon realizes that his greatest weapon for survival is not a sword, but his exceptional talent for cooking. As he prepares meals for the mercenaries, Shuri begins to forge genuine connections with the unit's eccentric and quirky leaders. By dramatically improving the group's dire food situation and occasionally contributing his own inventive ideas, he steadily proves his worth. What begins as mere tolerance from his fellow fighters gradually transforms into deep respect and recognition. Yet, even as Shuri earns his place among these battle-hardened warriors through the power of his cuisine, he remains entirely unaware of the extraordinary destiny awaiting him—a path that will ultimately see this humble cook rise to become a legendary hero.
