Mashita no Fudanshi-kun

Sokabe is a gay office worker who deliberately chose to live in an apartment far from his workplace, all for the sake of staying close to his neighbor, Motoi. Harboring a deep romantic crush on the man next door, Sokabe quietly endures the lengthy daily commute just to remain near the object of his affection. However, his carefully maintained secret is put at risk when he unexpectedly stumbles upon something astonishing inside Motoi's home: a massive, meticulously curated collection of Boys' Love manga. Motoi, it turns out, is a devoted fudanshi with an intense passion for the genre. In the ensuing panic over the discovery, Sokabe accidentally gives off the wrong impression, leading Motoi to enthusiastically mistake him for a fellow BL fan. Thrilled to have found a kindred spirit, Motoi eagerly pulls his neighbor into his hobby, surrounding him with tales of dominant semes and bashful ukes. Caught in this whirlwind of unexpected camaraderie, Sokabe faces a mounting dilemma. He must decide whether to finally confess his genuine romantic feelings or resign himself to perpetual silence. As Motoi continues to drag him deeper into the vibrant world of BL fandom, Sokabe struggles to navigate the delicate line between being seen as a trusted friend and revealing his true heart.
