Yuusha Kei ni Shosu: Choubatsu Yuusha 9004-tai Keimu Kiroku

In this world, heroism is not a noble calling but a brutal sentence reserved exclusively for the most heinous criminals. Those condemned to bear the title of "hero" are stripped of their freedom and forced onto the front lines of deadly conflicts, serving as expendable soldiers in a relentless war. It is a punishment designed to be worse than death, transforming society's worst offenders into instruments of violence who must fight endlessly to pay for their crimes. Among these condemned souls is the leader of Penal Hero Unit 9004, a squad composed entirely of such disgraced convicts. Tasked with carrying out the most perilous missions, the unit operates under the constant shadow of mortality, bound by a system that views them as nothing more than disposable weapons. Their existence is defined by bloodshed, servitude, and the desperate struggle to survive each harrowing deployment. However, the grim trajectory of their lives shifts dramatically when the unit's leader unexpectedly crosses paths with a goddess. The encounter leads to the forging of an unprecedented contract between a condemned criminal and a divine being. This extraordinary pact holds the potential to defy the cruel laws of their reality, setting into motion events that may ultimately reshape the fate of the entire world.
