In November of Universal Century 0079, the One Year War rages across the globe. A Zeon Komusai transport vessel, tasked with delivering vital reinforcements to the pivotal battlefield at Odessa, is struck by enemy fire during its perilous atmospheric drop operation. Severely damaged and unable to fight the overwhelming pull of gravity, the craft plummets far off course, ultimately executing a desperate emergency landing in an isolated region of the Far East known as Japan. Stranded in unfamiliar territory, the surviving soldiers find themselves cut off from their primary mission and thrust into an unpredictable struggle for survival. As they attempt to navigate their dire circumstances, they are forced into unexpected encounters with both Zeon remnants and Earth Federation forces operating in the region. These tense interactions reveal that the conflict extends far beyond the major battlefields widely recognized by military command. Through the eyes of these isolated troops, a previously hidden front of the One Year War is brought to light, exposing the broader, unseen toll of the devastating global conflict on the fringes of the world.
