Ore wo Suki nano wa Omae dake ka yo

Amatsuyu Kisaragi, known to his peers as Jouro, projects the image of an ordinary, helpful student who blends effortlessly into the background. This stands in stark contrast to his best friend, Taiyou Ooga—nicknamed Sun-chan—the charismatic and extroverted captain of the baseball team who naturally draws the attention of every girl around him. Yet beneath Jouro’s unremarkable exterior lies a calculating mind. He has been quietly orchestrating an elaborate scheme to win the hearts of two specific girls: his childhood friend and the student council president. By carefully engineering situations to make them fall for him, he anticipates that both will soon confess their feelings, bringing his ideal romantic fantasy to fruition. However, his flawless plan shatters when both girls finally corner him with what he assumes are confessions. Instead of declaring their love for him, they reveal that they are actually infatuated with Sun-chan and demand that Jouro help them win his affection. To compound his misery, Jouro discovers the following day that there is indeed one girl interested in him—a quiet classmate named Sumireko Sanshokuin. Unfortunately, she possesses a shockingly abrasive personality and seems entirely determined to sabotage whatever remains of his ruined romantic ambitions.
