Emma to Hakushaku

In a society where social standing is paramount, Emilia, the daughter of a wealthy commoner, must navigate the intricacies of aristocratic life. Despite being drawn to the charming Dominique, Emilia is aware of the societal implications of her relationship with him and ultimately rejects his advances. A series of unfortunate events forces her to withdraw from society, whereupon she adopts the alias "Emma" and takes on a new role as a governess in the Earl of Chard's household, tasked with caring for his children, thereby beginning a new chapter in her life.
