Scarlet Empire

Kotetsu Miyasaka is a kendo prodigy whose natural talent casts a long shadow over his twin brother, Yayoi. Although Yayoi practices the same martial art, he struggles to match Kotetsu's exceptional skill. Seeking to carve out his own identity away from his brother's achievements, Yayoi enrolls in a different school. However, when unforeseen trouble erupts at Yayoi's new academy, Kotetsu is drawn into a dangerous confrontation that threatens both their lives. In the midst of this crisis, Kotetsu is inexplicably transported back in time to Edo period Japan, where the dangers are far more severe than anything he faced in the modern world. Stranded in an unfamiliar era with only his kendo abilities to rely on, he is taken in by Souzou Sagara and his band of masterless samurai. Now surrounded by seasoned warriors and political turmoil, Kotetsu must navigate the harsh realities of feudal life. To survive in the past, he will need to use everything he has learned, potentially playing a pivotal role in shaping the future of Japan itself.
