Mobile Suit Gundam 00 - Bonds

Although the world has achieved a fragile unity, peace remains an elusive ideal. The time has come for Celestial Being to resume its armed interventions, stepping back into the global conflict to challenge the established order once more. As tensions rise and battles loom on the horizon, those who answer the organization’s call find themselves bound together by profound and irreplaceable connections that will be tested in the fires of war. Set against the backdrop of the second season, this manga presents five compelling short stories that explore the deeply personal struggles behind the larger conflict. Rather than focusing solely on battlefield tactics, the narrative delves into the emotional journeys of key figures as they navigate their evolving roles. Readers witness Soma’s harrowing transformation into Marie, a pivotal shift that challenges her very identity and purpose. Meanwhile, Sumeragi faces the weight of her past decisions as she makes the difficult choice to return to Celestial Being, reuniting with the comrades who rely on her strategic brilliance. Beyond the immediate ranks of the interventionist group, the collection also highlights the broader resistance against oppression. Marina channels her hopes and convictions into creating a powerful song for Kataron, using her voice as a beacon for those fighting for a better future. Together, these interconnected tales reveal how unbreakable bonds shape the destinies of individuals caught in a world striving for true peace.
