Hikari is a naturally curious high school girl whose daily life is filled with the people and things she loves most. Surrounded by everything that brings her joy, she enjoys an exciting and vibrant routine. However, an unexpected twist of fate shifts her attention toward someone entirely outside her usual world: a boy known among his peers as the "Disinterested Prince." Unlike Hikari, he remains completely detached from those around him, showing no enthusiasm for people or pursuits of any kind. Despite his blunt dismissal of others—casually remarking that getting involved with strangers is nothing but a nuisance—Hikari notices something hidden beneath his aloof exterior. In fleeting moments, he appears genuinely lonely, isolated in a way that tugs at her empathetic nature. Rather than being pushed away by his cold demeanor, she finds herself increasingly drawn to him. As her fascination deepens, Hikari’s desire to understand the quiet, guarded world he inhabits begins to grow, setting the stage for a compelling connection between two vastly different personalities.
