Hanabatake no Ibérico

During her junior high school years, Riko suffered a crushing blow to her self-esteem when the boy she secretly admired gave her an unflattering nickname: "Flower Garden's Ibérico-chan." Rather than feeling endeared or flattered by his attention, she was left utterly devastated. The teasing moniker struck a deep chord, leaving a lasting impression that would eventually drive a profound personal transformation. Determined never to be perceived that way again, Riko spent the intervening years completely reinventing herself. By the time they cross paths once more in high school, she has undergone a dramatic one-hundred-and-eighty-degree change in both appearance and demeanor. The once-heartbroken girl is now virtually unrecognizable from the classmate he used to tease. As they navigate this unexpected reunion, a compelling question lingers between them. Will her former crush be able to see past her stunning new exterior and realize exactly who she is? Or will Riko's carefully crafted new identity keep her true self—and her lingering feelings—hidden from the one person she originally wanted to impress?
