Yankee Juku e Iku

Ikariishi is a formidable and quiet presence at Masu Junior High, ruling the school's hierarchy alongside his loyal friends, Utsunomiya and Takamizawa. As one of the most feared delinquents in his circle, he has grown accustomed to a life defined by dominance and intimidation. However, his carefully maintained routine is unexpectedly disrupted when a chance encounter with a girl completely alters his trajectory, pulling him away from the streets and into the unfamiliar world of academic preparation. This unexpected influence drags Ikariishi into a cram school environment, forcing him to confront a challenge far removed from his usual street fights. Now faced with the daunting prospect of studying for high school entrance exams, he must navigate a demanding new reality that clashes entirely with his established reputation. The transition from top-tier delinquent to dedicated student proves to be a difficult balancing act, testing his resolve in ways physical confrontations never could. Yet, leaving his past behind is not a simple task. As Ikariishi attempts to focus on his textbooks and secure his academic future, the dangerous lifestyle he once commanded continues to loom ominously in the background. With threats constantly lingering just out of sight, he is forced to question whether he can truly afford to dedicate his time to studying when violence and trouble are never far away.
