Jukusei★Ikariishi-kun

Ikariishi is a remarkably quiet high school freshman with an ambitious dream: to one day become an astronaut. To bring himself closer to that goal, he dedicates his time to studying at a local cram school. It is there that his solitary routine is unexpectedly interrupted when he becomes entangled in the struggles of a fellow student named Hirona Tsushima. Hirona has spent much of her life avoiding hard work and running away from putting forth genuine effort. After failing to advance to the next grade, she finds herself pushed to the brink of despair. Desperate for a way forward, she realizes she needs to fundamentally change who she is. Recognizing her pain, Ikariishi makes a firm decision to stand by her side and help her find her footing once again. Together, these two first-year students navigate the turbulent intersection of youthful romance and personal ambition. Their journey is far from simple, filled with confusion and emotional growing pains. Yet, as they soon discover, adolescence only happens once. True fulfillment cannot be found by fleeing from challenges; it can only be achieved by facing them head-on and finally coming of age.
