The Apothecary Witch Turned Divorce Agent

Carla is a struggling witch whose talents fall woefully short in both magic and her professional endeavors. Following the passing of her master, the apothecary she inherited has steadily fallen into decline. To make ends meet, she operates a secondary business as a divorce agent—though, inexplicably, every couple she assists always seems to end up reconciling. Despite her lackluster track record, Carla continues to scrape by until an unexpected visitor disrupts her quiet life. One day, Thane, a royal knight, arrives at her shop bearing a message directly from the queen herself. The request is one Carla simply cannot refuse. Complicating matters further, Thane makes no effort to conceal his deep disdain for witches, while Carla holds an equally low opinion of knights. Their mutual animosity ensures that their interactions quickly devolve into bitter arguments, with the two clashing constantly over every minor disagreement. Yet, as they are forced to navigate this unavoidable royal commission together, the relentless friction between the apothecary witch and the prejudiced knight begins to shift. What starts as outright hostility may slowly reveal that hasty first impressions do not always tell the whole story.
