In the stagnant world of 2977 AD, where robots perform all tasks and the population is kept tranquil by subliminal messages, Captain Harlock and his group of like-minded rebels on the spaceship Arcadia defy the complacent mentality. A mysterious force known as the Mazone invades Earth, taking the form of cloaked women who kill anyone who suspects their nefarious activities.
