Duality of Desire

Identical twins Joo Baek-Hee and Joo Baek-Naa have always shared every aspect of their lives, but their most intense point of connection is a mutual fixation on Jung Hae-Yoon. To the outside world, Hae-Yoon appears to be nothing more than an ordinary friend caught in the orbit of two inseparable sisters. However, beneath the surface of their seemingly normal dynamic lies a deeply unsettling reality. The twins do not view Hae-Yoon as a simple companion; instead, they harbor consuming obsessions that transform their affection into something far more suffocating. Their perceptions of Hae-Yoon diverge sharply despite their identical faces. One twin treats Hae-Yoon as a precious plaything to be manipulated and controlled, while the other elevates them to the status of an irreplaceable treasure to be hoarded at all costs. This duality creates a volatile environment where the boundaries between genuine love and absolute possession are constantly eroding. As the sisters’ twisted desires grow increasingly intertwined, Hae-Yoon finds themselves trapped in a psychological labyrinth crafted by the very people they once trusted. The twins’ beautiful facades mask a dangerous intensity that tightens its grip with every passing day. Surrounded by an affection that feels indistinguishable from captivity, Hae-Yoon must navigate this treacherous emotional web before the line between devotion and ownership vanishes completely.
