Just My Luck

This collection of six short stories explores the complexities of love, relationships, and the human condition. In "Our Luck", Asahi, the president of the Research Society Club, seeks the help of his fortune advisor, Rokujou-sensei, who has the power to cure bad luck with a kiss. However, the delicate balance between them is disrupted by new club members seeking the same treatment. In "The Mechanism of Love", a young man's sister brings him a life-like robot in the hopes of curing his aphenphosmphobia, leaving him in a difficult position. "The Uniform and You" tells the story of Sugiura, whose school uniform is admired by a self-proclaimed "uniform maniac" who may have ulterior motives. "Uwasa no Futari" delves into the rumoured kiss between two school vice president, Akabane and president, Aoyama, leaving them to question the true nature of their relationship. Through these six stories, the boundaries between love, friendship, and obsession are blurred, offering a thought-provoking exploration of the human experience.
