Usotsuki Mii-kun to Kowareta Maa-chan

Set in a quiet rural city shadowed by a dark history, the story unfolds against the backdrop of a disturbing string of murders and a fresh kidnapping case. These present-day crimes echo a chilling incident from eight years prior, when children were abducted under similarly grim circumstances. The town’s peaceful facade masks a lingering trauma that continues to haunt those who survived it. At the center of this nightmare are two deeply scarred individuals: "Mii-kun," a compulsive liar who serves as the story's narrator, and "Maa-chan," whose real name is Misono Mayu. Both are victims of the abduction that took place eight years ago. By a twist of fate, the two reunite and begin living together in Mayu's apartment. However, their shared domestic life carries a macabre secret—the very kidnapped children from the current incidents are being held captive inside her home. Bound by their broken pasts and entangled in an unfolding tragedy, Mii-kun and Maa-chan navigate a twisted reality where deception, trauma, and horror blur the lines between victim and accomplice.
