Shokugyou Tenshi

Shokugyou Tenshi is an anthology of four emotionally resonant supernatural tales, each exploring extraordinary circumstances faced by ordinary individuals. The opening story follows a man born into the Midori, a unique lineage of humans destined to transform into trees upon death, as he struggles against the burdens of his heritage in search of a normal life. In the second narrative, a young boy residing in a world steeped in magic opens his very first spellbook only to discover that it has unexpectedly transformed into a mischievous pixie. The third tale centers on a boy who was forced to leave his beloved cat behind when his family relocated. Years later, upon returning to his old home, he is suddenly transported to a bizarre and unfamiliar realm populated entirely by cats. The final story introduces a reckless young driver who agrees to test an experimental drug in exchange for having his speeding fine dismissed. However, he awakens the following morning with white wings sprouting from his back—wings that mysteriously grow larger every time he commits a misdeed, forcing him to confront the physical weight of his own transgressions.
