Natsu, Kimi ga Saku

Shinobu spent his childhood in a rural town so remote that his elementary school class consisted of no one but himself. Deprived of peers, he found solace in the quiet company of a local horticulture expert, dedicating his early years to studying flowers rather than navigating the complexities of childhood friendships. This isolated upbringing left him without the social instincts most children naturally develop, shaping him into a solitary figure long after he eventually relocated to a bustling city. In his new urban environment, Shinobu continues to keep to himself, unable to bridge the gap between his quiet nature and the world around him. His carefully maintained distance is unexpectedly broken by Yukihito, a boy who approaches him one day and effortlessly claims the role of his first true friend. What begins as a simple connection quickly evolves into something far more profound, leaving Shinobu entirely unprepared for the intensity of his own feelings. Yukihito has become the center of Shinobu’s world, yet this deep attachment brings an overwhelming sense of confusion. Having never learned how to navigate relationships, Shinobu finds himself grappling with emotions he cannot name or manage. Now, he must face the daunting challenge of understanding what this bond truly means and figuring out how to move forward when the person he cares about most leaves him completely lost.
