Hatsukoi Ribbon

Hatsukoi Ribbon is a mature anthology manga comprising ten interconnected short stories that explore taboo desires, complicated relationships, and the blurred lines between innocence and temptation. The narratives follow various characters navigating forbidden attractions, including a young man who struggles with his guilt and lingering desire after crossing boundaries with his best friend's younger sister, Miu, only to discover she harbors deep feelings for him. Another tale centers on Kouji, a tutor whose resolve is tested when his young student, Rurika, boldly propositions him as a convenient partner before she enters middle school. The collection further delves into complex romantic entanglements through stories of childhood friends acting as wingmen for their siblings, a teacher attempting to exploit his role as a fake boyfriend for his aspiring manga artist student Mayu, and a girl named Momoka who cannot refuse the physical demands of a boy she is not officially dating. A central multi-part arc follows a brother and his younger sister Emi, who maintain a precarious relationship built on suppressed urges until Emi's assertive best friend Yuu disrupts their fragile dynamic. Throughout these varied encounters, the anthology examines the intense, often transgressive nature of first loves and hidden passions.
