Seeking a fresh start far from those who know his past, Kazuki Tsukigase transfers to a high school on an isolated island. He hopes the remote setting will offer him the anonymity and distance he desperately needs. However, his quiet attempt to escape his history is interrupted when he learns of a local inlet shrouded in unsettling rumors, where people are said to vanish without a trace. Driven by curiosity, Kazuki ventures into the mysterious inlet and makes a startling discovery: a young girl lying unconscious. He carries her to the island’s clinic, where she eventually regains consciousness. Yet her awakening brings more questions than answers. She remains unable to recall or share any details about her true identity or origins. The only information she can offer is her name, Nao, and that she is sixteen years old. Most chillingly, before falling silent again, she whispers a single, inexplicable detail—the year 1974—leaving Kazuki entangled in a profound mystery that defies explanation.
