VERTEX FORCE

Akira shares a quiet, unassuming life with his mother, who manages a local cafe, and his older sister, Haruka. On the surface, their household appears entirely ordinary, yet it conceals a profound secret rooted in their family lineage. Haruka has inherited a remarkable ability from their father known as "Engine," a power she deliberately keeps hidden from the outside world to protect herself and those around her. Unlike his sister, Akira was not blessed with this extraordinary inheritance. Lacking any trace of his father’s abilities, he struggles quietly with a deep-seated inferiority complex, constantly measuring himself against the legacy he cannot claim. His feelings of inadequacy weigh heavily on him, casting a shadow over his otherwise peaceful daily routine within the warmth of his family's home. However, the fragile normalcy of Akira’s life is soon threatened by forces beyond his control. Across the globe, inexplicable and bizarre events begin to unfold, disrupting the world at large. As these strange phenomena escalate, the quiet existence Akira has known teeters on the edge of upheaval, intertwining his personal struggles with a growing worldwide mystery.
