Star Wars: Visions Presents - The Ninth Jedi

Released under the newly established Star Wars: Visions Presents banner, this eight-episode limited anime series expands upon the universe first introduced in the original animated shorts. The initiative grants filmmakers the creative freedom to explore longer-form narratives within the Star Wars mythos, allowing for deeper character development and more intricate storytelling than the standalone episodes previously permitted. Set shortly after the events of the earlier shorts, the series follows Lah Kara as she deepens her training in the ways of the Jedi. Under the careful guidance of Margrave Juro, she embarks on a profound journey of self-discovery, striving to master her abilities while confronting the uncertainties that lie ahead. Her path is far from solitary, as she joins a small fellowship of fellow Jedi-in-training who share her dedication and resolve. Together, this fledgling group sets out on an epic quest driven by a deeply personal mission: to rescue Lah Kara’s father. As they navigate the dangers of their expanding world, the young apprentices must rely on one another and the lessons imparted by Margrave Juro. Their journey transforms into a defining trial of courage, unity, and the enduring spirit of the Jedi.
