Dust of the Simulacrum

A young girl finds herself thrust onto the unforgiving surface of a harsh and perilous world. This environment is fraught with constant danger, testing her resolve from the moment she arrives. Amidst this hostile landscape, she encounters a boy who stands ready to face the threats that surround them. Though their circumstances are daunting, neither has arrived by accident; both carry a distinct and deliberate purpose that binds them together in this treacherous setting. As they navigate the challenges before them, the very fabric of their reality begins to unravel. The world around them does not merely crumble—it systematically disintegrates, breaking down piece by piece in a slow, inevitable collapse. Yet this destruction is unlike any natural decay. Rather than dissolving into dust or scattering atom by atom, the environment deconstructs itself datum by datum, revealing a chilling truth about the nature of their existence. Together, the girl and the boy must confront both the immediate physical dangers and the profound existential threat of a simulated reality erasing itself from the ground up.
