Hiyori has recently returned to his alma mater, this time not as a student but as a high school teacher. Despite the familiar surroundings, he finds himself navigating his new professional life in complete solitude, spending every day isolated from those around him. When a curious rumor begins circulating among the staff about a god of love residing somewhere within the school grounds, Hiyori’s lingering loneliness compels him to make a quiet wish, hoping to finally encounter his destined partner. Shortly after making this wish, an unexpected encounter disrupts his solitary routine. He crosses paths with Uzuki, a younger colleague at the school, and experiences a sudden, involuntary physical reaction to the man's presence. The situation grows even more complicated when Hiyori realizes that Uzuki is far from a stranger; he is actually one of his former students. Five years earlier, Uzuki had bravely confessed his feelings to Hiyori, a moment that now casts a long shadow over their current dynamic. Rather than treating their reunion as a simple coincidence, Uzuki confronts the past directly. Standing before his former teacher once again, the younger man makes his intentions unmistakably clear by declaring that his feelings have never faded, stating simply that he still likes Hiyori. This confession forces Hiyori to navigate the blurred boundaries between his past and present, setting the stage for a complicated romance.
