Love Unseen Beneath the Clear Night Sky

Kakeru Sorano is a reserved university freshman who deliberately keeps his distance from those around him, preferring the safety of isolation. His solitary routine is unexpectedly interrupted when he crosses paths with Koharu Fuyutsuki, a blind young woman who navigates her daily life with a gentle, unwavering optimism. Despite their contrasting approaches to the world—his guarded withdrawal and her quiet resilience—the two begin to form an unlikely bond built on small, shared moments that slowly bridge the gap between them. When Koharu casually expresses a heartfelt wish to experience fireworks someday, her words awaken something dormant within Kakeru. For the first time, his carefully maintained emotional walls begin to crack as he finds himself deeply moved by her simple yet profound desire. Their growing closeness becomes a source of mutual comfort, offering solace to two individuals who have each known their own distinct forms of loneliness. Driven by this unexpected connection, Kakeru embarks on a personal mission to find a way to fulfill Koharu’s dream. As he searches for a means to let her truly experience the beauty of a fireworks display, he discovers that helping her might ultimately transform his own withdrawn existence, turning their shared vulnerability into a quiet but powerful journey toward understanding and hope.
