FIST OF THE NORTH STAR: HOKUTO NO KEN

In the year 199X, a catastrophic nuclear war reduces the planet to a desolate wasteland. The oceans have dried up, civilization has crumbled, and humanity teeters on the brink of extinction. Yet, life persists among the ruins. Scattered survivors wander the scorched earth in a desperate search for food and water, only to find their fragile hopes shattered by relentless violence. In this lawless era, brute strength dictates survival, and the defenseless are mercilessly crushed beneath the ambitions of the ruthless. From the depths of this despair emerges Kenshiro, a solitary warrior bearing seven scars across his chest. As the rightful successor of Hokuto Shinken, a legendary martial art designed for assassination, he traverses the devastated landscape driven by a deeply personal mission: to hunt down Shin, the sworn enemy who abducted his beloved fiancée, Yuria. Along his journey, Kenshiro cannot ignore the suffering around him. He answers the pleas of the oppressed, transforming into a guiding light for those trapped in darkness. His path is continually blocked by savage warlords whose desires have been warped by greed and absolute power. In a broken world where the vulnerable are treated as prey and prayers fall on deaf ears, Kenshiro carves out justice using nothing but his iron fists.
