Hyakki Yakoushou

Ritsu carries a unique inheritance from his grandfather: a powerful sixth sense that allows him to perceive the unseen. Alongside this extraordinary ability, he is accompanied by a demon guardian known as Blue Storm. Together, they find themselves at the center of inexplicable occurrences, as strange and unsettling events seem to follow them wherever they go. Bound by circumstance and duty, Ritsu and his supernatural protector are left with no choice but to investigate these mysteries, unraveling the truth behind phenomena that defy ordinary explanation. The series unfolds through a collection of independent stories, each presenting a new enigma rooted in the paranormal. Despite the self-contained nature of these episodes, a familiar cast of recurring characters weaves throughout the narrative, gradually revealing their own complexities and histories. As viewers spend more time with them, these individuals become deeply compelling figures who must navigate encounters with forces entirely beyond the natural world. Each character responds to these otherworldly threats in their own distinct manner, bringing a diverse range of perspectives to the overarching struggle. Through its blend of standalone mysteries and evolving relationships, the story offers an engaging exploration of how ordinary lives intersect with the extraordinary, guided always by Ritsu's inherited sight and the watchful presence of Blue Storm.
